I have over 20 years of experience in Software Engineering, Leadership, Business Development, and Digital Products.
I co-founded Plataformatec, a software consultancy that was acqui-hired by Nubank in 2020. The company grew to R$20 million in revenue and had over 65 people working with clients such as Nubank, Bionexo, Youse, Abril, Locaweb, Easynvest, and Walmart.
Throughout this growth, I gained experience as an individual contributor and manager in software engineering, sales, business development, and SaaS products. Plataformatec was also known worldwide as the company behind the creation of the Elixir programming language.
After Plataformatec, I co-founded SourceLevel, a SaaS platform focused on metrics and analytics for engineering teams.
I then joined a Brazilian unicorn fintech as a Principal Engineer, where I architected and shipped a full AI stack (Elixir LLM Agent, RAG, and MCP) that now serves over 3 million merchants in Brazil and the US.
Currently, I’m part of the technical staff at New Generation, building the infrastructure for agentic commerce — the next evolution of online trade, where AI agents can buy and sell autonomously. Our platform enables brands to communicate directly with AI shopping assistants, all built on Elixir for scalability and reliability.
My primary programming languages are Elixir and Ruby, and I frequently contribute to the open-source community. I also speak regularly at events and local meetups.
